This event has already occurred

Description

NYC celebrates Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month throughout May. The NYC Parks Department gives free history tours and hosts more outdoor events, and the New York Public Library offers suggested readings, panels and other free events. It’s also worth keeping an eye on cultural institutions like Asia Society and Museum and Japan Society to see what sorts of special events and exhibitions they have in store as the time approaches. Also, don’t miss the annual AAPI Cultural and Heritage Parade, which will bring the month's celebration to a close on June 1 . It will take place along Sixth Avenue in Midtown Manhattan. There is a Japan Parade on May 10 as well.
