Description
The Mets’ local minor league affiliate plays at the High A level, with a season about a month shorter than that of the majors. Home games are the beach, at Maimonides Park in Coney Island. The organization is known for wacky promotional days; look for nights honoring Seinfeld and various other popular culture topics (Margaritaville Night, for example). Future MLB stars like Daniel Murphy and Michael Conforto were Cyclones before reaching the big leagues.
