Climate Week NYC
Sep 21, 2025 - Sep 28, 2025
Description
Climate Week NYC brings together leaders from businesses, governments, institutions and the climate-activist community. Programs surrounding sustainability, environmental impact, global security and economic issues take place during the weeklong conference. This year’s theme, “Power On,” reflects the continued momentum and progress in the fight against climate change. Day one features an opening ceremony with discussions and interviews with key players in the climate community. Past speakers have included then-Prince Charles, Governor Kathy Hochul, President of Kenya Dr. William Ruto and World Trade Organization Director-General Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala; this year, former Colorado governor Bill Ritter Jr. and UN-Habitat executive director Anacláudia Rossbach are among the featured speakers. Next up is The Hub Live, which brings together more than 1,000 influential leaders across sessions addressing important climate themes. There are more than 600 events throughout the City with the goal of driving progress; make sure to visit climateweeknyc.org for more information and a complete list of this year’s activities.
