Lillie P. Bliss and the Birth of the Modern

MoMA celebrates one of its founders and her role in establishing modern art in the States. More than 90 years after Lillie Bliss gifted her collection to the museum she helped found, this exhibit puts some of those works in the spotlight, displaying 40 pieces of art alongside archival materials.
