NYC Ice-Skating Rinks

calendar_month

Oct 15, 2025 - Mar 15, 2026

Description

Experience New York City on skates with a visit to one of the City’s famous ice rinks, many open-air versions of which are open from late fall to early spring. Central Park’s Wollman Rink comes with killer views of Manhattan's Midtown skyline, while Rockefeller Center’s seasonal rink allows you to skate beneath the famous Christmas tree. The Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park is surrounded by stunning architecture and kiosks full of gifts and snacks. For an indoor experience that will make you feel like a professional hockey player or ice-skater, look into City Ice Pavilion in Queens, which operates year-round (though make sure ahead of time that they have public sessions for skating). Lastly, don’t miss one of the latest entries, Glide at Brooklyn Bridge Park, which sits under the world-famous Brooklyn Bridge and is open daily starting in mid-November.
