Description

Fred W. McDarrah has photographed the City’s LGBTQ+ community for much of his long career. The 60-plus black-and-white photographs in this exhibition trace landmark moments since the Stonewall Uprising back in 1969. Among those captured by his lens are John Cage, Susan Sontag, Frank O’Hara, Candy Darling, Larry Kramer and Marsha P. Johnson.
