On the fringes of Brooklyn, in an industrial no-man’s-land now boasting a burgeoning arts scene, Elsewhere is a huge converted warehouse-turned-music club that describes itself as an incubator for “creative risk-taking.” Inside Elsewhere’s cavernous space are various performance venues for live music (techno, hip-hop and indie rock), including a large rooftop and courtyard for dancing, eating and drinking. In addition, a revolving show of art exhibitions are always on view.
