The Campbell

Description

Before it was a swanky hideaway in Grand Central Terminal, the storied Campbell Apartment was the private office of John W. Campbell, a tycoon from the 1920s. While most New Yorkers would kill to have an entire apartment , much less an office, that spans nearly 2,000 square feet, the space is a throwback to another era, when gents would sip cocktails while discussing the war in rocking chairs. Today, the renovated and expanded space has three bars, including a terrace overlooking the main hall at Grand Central and an outdoor area on Vanderbilt Avenue.
