Ethel Barrymore Theatre

Description

Before there was Drew Barrymore, there were her notorious acting ancestors—Ethel and John—who were as famous for their acting skills as they were for their battles with various addictions. Named after the famed stage actress in 1928, this handsome theater, with elegant round arches, gilded doorways and some of the most beautiful restrooms in New York, the Barrymore has featured all the classics, from A Streetcar Named Desire to A Raisin in the Sun.
