Nederlander Theatre

Description

The Nederlander Theatre has seen almost 90 years of performances, from Shakespeare to Edward Albee. Younger theatergoers, though, know it best as the longtime home of the smash hit Rent. (That era ended in 2009 when a revival of Guys and Dolls moved in.) After all these years, the Nederlander remains smaller and more intimate than many of its big-name counterparts, and it’s the only theater running a Broadway production below 42nd Street.
