Joomak Banjum

Description

After a series of successful and sold-out popup restaurants, former executive pastry chefs Jiho Kim (The Modern) and Kelly Nam (Electric Lemon) paired up with restaurateur Sarah Kang to open their first permanent space, Joomak Banjum (meaning “tavern” and “Chinese restaurant” in Korean).  Joomak Banjum serves Korean-Chinese fusion cuisine executed with French technique and expressed through New York culture, bringing a new and unique experience to Koreatown with an extensive focus on the wine and beverage program.
