Rolf’s

Description

Gramercy’s longstanding German restaurant is known as much for its fare—think schnitzel, potato pancakes and sausage—as it is for its decor. In the fall, Rolf’s adopts an Oktoberfest theme, donning the interior with colorful leaves indicative of the season. But Christmastime is when the restaurant goes all out, sporting some of the most elaborate and beautiful holiday decorations in the City, with lights and colorful balls and garland hanging from every inch of the ceiling. It’s a feast for the eyes as well as the stomach.
