The Door

Description

Bucking the trend of the casual, inexpensive Caribbean eateries that are mostly found in Jamaica, the Door is a more upscale experience. Inside the beautiful, well-lit dining room, tables are arranged for intimate fine dining—and the presentation of the food follows suit. Jerk chicken, oxtail, curried goat and stewed chicken are some of the favorites. There is also a buffet option on Thursdays and Sundays, when you really get the most for your money. If there’s a long wait, you might consider going the takeout route.
