Ample Hills at Dekalb Market Hall

Out of Business

Description

One of a handful of permanent locations, Ample Hills at Dekalb Market Hall is a convenient, downtown Brooklyn outpost of one of the City's most beloved ice cream shops. The throwback business looks back fondly on a time when Brooklyn consisted of “ample hills” (a phrase borrowed from a Walt Whitman poem) where cows grazed and life was simpler. With that aesthetic in mind, they make their ice cream the old-fashioned way—slowly and by hand, with the freshest ingredients. Favorite flavors include Salted Crack Caramel, Snap Mallow Pop! and Ooey Gooey Butter Cake.
