La Plaza de las Americas

Description

This year-round outdoor market, maintained as an “incubator” for small businesses by the neighborhood’s development corporation, hosts everything from mini-clothing shops, to booths where shoppers can pick up toys and musical instruments, as well as stands offering ready-to-eat food. Every Thursday from June through November, the spot also serves as a greenmarket where shoppers can pick up fresh produce.
