Prospect Park Drummer's Grove

Description

The Prospect Park Drummer’s Grove grew out of an endeavor by the Congo Square Drummers, who began meeting here to play in 1968. In the years that followed, the area became a destination for musicians, dancers, vendors and craftsmen. The area’s ongoing popularity led the park to formally christen it and add seating for fans that want to check out the jamming.
