Prospect Park Litchfield Villa

Description

Standing atop a hill, Litchfield Villa was once an elegantly designed family home. In 1868, it was condemned to make way for the construction of Prospect Park, but today it still stands, housing the administrative offices for the Prospect Park Alliance. Architecture fans can view the building’s refined 19th-century romantic Italian facade, which includes ornate towers and cupolas, from outside during regular park hours.
