Description
The TKTS Ticket Booths for same-day performances at up to 50% off full price to Broadway and Broadway shows is operated by TDF (formerly known as Theatre Development Fund). TDF is a nonprofit performing arts organization whose mission includes making the power of the performing arts accessible to everyone no matter what the barrier. Their two TKTS Booths, one in Times Square on Father Duffy Island (47th St. & Seventh Ave.) and a satellite booth at Lincoln Center in the David Rubenstein Atrium (61 W. 62nd St.) sell tickets to performances of Broadway and Off-Broadway musicals and plays on the same day as well as the next day's matinee at mostly 50% off full price. There's a free TKTSapp which shows the hours of operation of the booths. You can see in real time what shows are on sale and what the range of prices are for each.
